Mr. Lee Roy Neely,

My condolence is with you and your family in this time of loss. My family and I have often thought of you and Calvin and the kindness that was shown to us while we were on the farm in Rutledge. My son Matt still has the Tonka truck that you two brought him for Christmas about 29-30 years ago. We lost Greg couple of years ago and understand the feeling of loss but we rejoice in the fact he is with the Lord today. We will keep you in our prayers.

Dear Lori & John,

We are so sorry to learn of the news about your sweet Mother. We knew she was a strong lady, and surely an inspiration to us all when we talked to you recently. Stay strong as she would want you to be, and give our best to Lee Roy. May you all be surrounded by the love and prayers of so many who love you. We are home and close by if we can be of any help, or just to talk; meanwhile, keeping you close at heart.

In the early '70s I worked in a store in Western Plaza that Mrs. Neely frequented. I have never forgotten her. Her pleasantness, poise, grace, kindness, and strong faith influenced many aspects of my life. My sincere sympathy to the family. Jennie Hendley

I’ve tried to write my thoughts on the wonderful lady at least 3 times today. My words just keep failing me. She was very special to me and I have thousands of memories tucked away in my heart about her! She was a woman who never met a stranger and loved every one. She treated me like her own. I will miss her terribly. I will re live the talks we had, the trips we shared, the shopping we did, and so much more in my wonderful memories. Rest easy momma Pooh. I love you .

Mrs. Tootsie was such a beautiful person and I will never forget the love shown to me after first meeting Tootsie in summer 2004. I will always remember the hugs, meals, laughter, and prayers that I experienced through the years. I'm sending much love and prayers to the family as you celebrate the life and legacy of Mrs. Tootsie. She will forever be in my heart.

My precious friend is one of the most gracious, kindest and sweetest ladies that a person could have as a friend in all this world. It has certainly been a privilege to have known she and her family for many, many years and her kind heart was an asset to all who knew her. She was so loved by all. She not only loved her family so very much, but she had a love and caring for all people to whom she came in came in contact with. Her love for Leroy was so special.
Toots--I love you my friend, but I know God loves you and wants you in Heaven.
