Parks, Eugenia (Genie) Gray, age 85, of South Knoxville, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010. She was a member of Woodlawn Christian Church and retired from Tennessee School for the Deaf after 45 years of service. Preceded in death by husband, Augustus C. Parks; parents, Allen and Susie Gray; sister, Euretha Gray.
Survivors include; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Charles Chance; grandchildren, Dr. Charles Allen Chance and wife, Patti, Susan Mintz and husband, Jeremy; great grandchildren, Charles Enrique Chance, Thomas Jackson Mintz, and Austin Mintz.
Graveside service will be 11 am Friday at Lynnhurst Cemetery with Senior Minister Charles Beckett officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Thursday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 2300 W. Adair Dr. Condolences may be offered at www.lynnhurstchapel.com
