Evelyn Jones Harrison, age 93, of Powell, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025. She worked at Standard Knitting Mills for more than 30 years and later in the cafeteria at Karns Middle School. She attended Central Church of God.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Bass and Verna Jones; sister, Martha Jean Price; brothers, Kermit Jones and Ben Jones; and by two nieces and two nephews, as well as by husbands, William Smith and Roy Harrison. She is survived by her sister, June McClain, along with four nieces and two nephews and their families, to whom she was lovingly known as “Aunt Ebbie.”
The family wishes to extend gratitude for the loving care provided by Autumn Care – Karns and Smoky Mountain Hospice.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 30th from 6:00-7:00 pm, with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 pm, officiated by Pastor Garrett Reese at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 W. Adair Dr., Knoxville, TN 37918. A private interment will take place at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
