Frances Cameron Nipper

Frances Cameron Nipper, age 94, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024. She was a former member of Central Baptist Church of Fountain City and current member of First Baptist Church Knoxville. Frances served on Carson Newman University Board of Trustees and she was the past President of UT Hospital Auxiliary.

Frances was preceded in death by husband of 43 years, Kenneth Cameron; husband of 23 years, Thomas Nipper; parents, Newt and Amy Stoffell; siblings, Charlotte Tally, Reva Lepore, Cate Kutz, and Bill Stoffell. She is survived by children, Jamie (David) Jones, Vicki (John) Violette, and Gail (Greg) Evans; grandchildren, Joshua (Clare) Copeland, Jessica (Seth) Sparks, Dalton (Elli) Jones, Laura (Richard) Lawson, Amy Violette, Nicole (Jeff) Violette, Emily (Chad) Hunley, and Tim Evans; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Morning Pointe Assisted Living of Powell, Sacred Ground Hospice House, and Amedisys Hospice for the loving care they gave our mother. Graveside service will take place Thursday, September 19th at 11am at Greenwood Cemetery, 3500 Tazewell Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918, meeting at the graveside at 10:45am. Rev. Amy Violette officiating.
