He is preceded in death by his wife, Ada Flo Williams; mother and father, Ruby and Verlin Williams Sr.; sister, Rose Howard (Fred Howard); brothers, Jack Williams and Billy Williams and his granddaughter, Brittany Day. George is survived by his three children; George Edward Williams II (Amanda Williams), John Jeffrey Williams (Mellisa Williams) and Melissa Lynn Day (Brian Day); grandchildren, David Scott Williams, Jessica Williams-Hurley, Joshua Williams, Jordan Williams, John Williams II, Jacob Williams and Wyatt Day; great grandchildren; Grace, Liam and Mason Hurley; brother, Verlin Williams Jr. (Wilma Williams); sister-in-law, Mary Ann Williams; life partner, Rosemarie Piatt and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
George spent most of his life as a professional truck driver and is an Air Force Veteran. (A jack of all trades and a master of none). His Greatest accomplishment in life was coming to know the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour and sharing the good news with anyone who would listen. We will always carry him with us in our hearts until we meet again in Heaven one day.
Family will receive friends Sunday, December 19th from 1-3pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with funeral service following at 3pm with Pastor Larry Brannon officiating. Committal service will take place Monday, December 20th meeting at Lynnhurst Cemetery at 2:45pm for a 3pm service.
