Gilbert “Bud” Grayson, age 86, went to be with the Lord on April 4, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born March 22, 1932 in Knoxville, TN to Hue Gilbert and Betty Ault. He was a graduate of Knox High School. Bud married his loving wife Margaret “Sally” Maine. Together, they had one son, Paul. He was a family man who was adored and loved by them. Bud grew up and sang in the choir and served as a Deacon at City View Baptist Church, and later became a member at Beaver Dam Baptist Church. He was a veteran of US Marine Corp and also loved golfing, fishing, and watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren play sports. He is survived by wife, Sally Grayson; son, Paul Grayson; sister, Betty Lou Cox; granddaughters, Whitney Grayson; Larah Ramage (Ryan); great granddaughters, Laney Camp, Ava and Sage Ramage. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 5 - 7 pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. The chapel service will follow with Dr. Alan Price officiating. Interment will be 2 pm April 8, 2018 at Greenwood Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.berrylynnhurst.com

Bud , I will always remember those days that we shared on the golf course . You will be truly missed by family and friends . I learned so much about being humble and being at peace , just enjoying life by being around you . God bless and may you rest in peace . I love all the Grayson family and you are in my prayers . Uncle bud was like a dad to me growing up he took me fishing ,hiking, camping,softball ,basketball, Sunday school teacher,got me my first real job and worked beside him for many years at a and p he was one of a kind
I love you Bud and will miss you
