Helen Spurling Locke

Helen Spurling Locke, age 89, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024. She was a member of Ft. Sanders Baptist Church. Helen retired from Tom's Foods. She never met a stranger and loved the Lord almighty. Helen was a wonderful mother, wife and grandmother.

Helen is preceded in death by her loving husband, Pete Locke; parents, Earl and Kathleen Spurling; sons: Gary Locke, Mike Locke and granddaughter, Brooke Gregg Morris.

She is survived by daughter, Tina Gregg; brother, Robert Spurling; daughter-in-law, Beverly Locke; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and cousins.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Caris Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion they provided Helen.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 28, 2024 between the hours of 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive, Knoxville, TN 37918 with a service to follow at 7:00 PM. Rev. Eddie Myers with Sonlight Baptist Church will be officiating. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Berry Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11:00 AM Interment Service.
