James Ronald Campbell

Campbell, James Ronald “Ron” age 71 of Hiawassee GA, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Ron attended High School in Rossville, GA, received his B.A. from Carson-Newman Collage and Masters from the University of Tennessee. He retired from Quaker Oats Chattanooga, TN after 25 years of service as a Manger of Industrial Engineering. Ron and his wife Rebecca lived in Hiawassee, GA after retiring for the past 11 years. He enjoyed traveling, UT Football and sports. Ron Grew up in Rossville, GA and lived in Chattanooga most of his life.

Preceded in death by his parents Erbie and Agnes Campbell, grandmother Dera Stanfield, uncles Charles and Paul Stanfield.

Survivors include his loving wife Rebecca Campbell of Hiawassee, GA, Daughter and son-in-law Jodi Campbell Hoover and Troy Hoover, grandsons Ben and Joel Whatley, Reid and Bailey Hoover all of Geneva, Fla, Aunt Dainese Riggins, cousins Paul, Barbara, Paul Jr., Charles, Diane and Johnnie Stansfield. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Melanoma Research Foundation, PO Box 759329, Baltimore, MD, 21275-9329 Family and friends will meet Friday at 12:30pm in the Lynnhurst/Greenwood Chapel for a graveside service at 1pm in the Lynnhurst Cemetery with Rev.
