I was raised in Kingston and also attended Castle Heights. Always considered Jim a good friend. Sorry for your lost.

We have so many great memories with the Sykes family when they lived in Douglasville. I remember helping them pack up to move back to TN, and have only kept in touch via social media since then. That doesn't mean we care any less. Jim was a wonderful person! Sara, Casie and Jamie...we love all of you just like you were still near us. Hugs and prayers!

Jim, Sara, Casie, and Jamie were special friends to the Roebuck family when they lived in Douglasville, GA. Jim and his dry sense of humor help to develop some very fond memories. Although we have been separated by time and miles over the last several years, Jim Sykes will always be a part of my good time memories. Rest in Peace brother Jim. Larry Roebuck
