James “Jimmy Neal” Watts, age 94, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at his home. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy in WWII, a Boy Scout Master of Troop 54, and an active member of New Hope Presbyterian Church. Jimmy retired from AT&T with 37 years of service, and after retirement loved to travel with his wife Jane all over the United States. He was well liked by all who knew him. Preceded in death by wife of over 50 years, Jane Bullen Watts; parents, Bernard and Mary Watts; brother, Tom Watts; and sister, Doris Housholder. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Hal E. and Jeanie Watts; daughter, Rebecca (Becky) Watts, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at their convenience from 12:30 - 2:30 pm Saturday at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. The family will have a private interment service.
