Jones, Jean P., age 87, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013. She was a member of Loveland Baptist Church. Retired from Knox Department Store. Preceded in death by son, John Van Jones; parents, Carrie and John Payne; brothers, Fayett Payne, Dana Payne, Bill Payne, Harold Payne, Kermit Payne; sister, Pauline Newman.
Survived by children, Vicky Perry (Bill), Debby Bowers (Terry), Scott Jones (Angela); grandchildren, Darrell Lewis, Shannon Bowers, Tracy Davis, Paige Perry, Alex Jones; great grandchildren Makenzie, Hannah, Jordan, Madlyn, Vann, and Nolan. Special thanks to Summit View of Lake City.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm Saturday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel . The funeral will follow at 7pm with Rev. Oliver Wolfenbarger officiating. Family and friends will meet at Asbury at 2 pm Sunday for the interment. Pallbearers; Terry Bowers, Bill Perry, Scott Jones, Darrell Lewis, Vann Kirkland, Jacob Hurst, and Jordan Davis.
