JoAnn Burrows

JoAnn Burrows, age 75, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. JoAnn faithfully attended Redemption Harvest Church. She enjoyed working in her flowers, shopping and listening to live music.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband of 13 years, Roger Burrows; parents, Herman and Ruth Johnson; brothers, Bobby Johnson, Lonnie Johnson, James Johnson; sister, Nannie Johnson; son, Mitchell Mullins. She is survived by son, Steven R. Sears; daughter, Vickie (Pete) Sanders; grandchildren, Sierra Sears, Shalyn Williams, Josiah Sears, Michael Mullins, Jessica Loy, Jennifer Mullins, Michelle Sanders, Chris Sanders; several great grandchildren; sisters, Mary McCarter, Peggy Hoskins, Brenda Sanders, Berthie Grigsby, Alice Necessary; brother, Donald Johnson; many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Friday, August 9th from 5-7pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with funeral service following at 7pm. Graveside service will take place Saturday, August 10th at 1pm at Lynnhurst Cemetery, meeting at the graveside at 12:45pm. Pastor Dale Berry officiating. Honorary pallbearers to include, Steven R. Sears, Josiah Sears, Mark McCarter, Tony Caudill, Jeremy Caudill, and Michael Mullins. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Alzheimer's association at www.alz.org/tn.
