Painter, John Marvin, Jr., age 60, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012. He was a devoted husband, father, and papaw. Preceded in death by his parents, Thelma and John Painter, Sr.; sisters, Bobbie Painter, Faye Shelton, and Alma Moyers.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Sandra Painter; daughter, Kelly Hart and husband Seth; sons, Chad Painter and wife Kelly, Jason Painter and wife Ashton; grandchildren, Bailey and Allie Painter, Isaac and Lily Grace Painter, Ryen and Rex Hart; sisters, Brenda Parsons and husband Gerald – Alabama, Lorene Lane and husband L.D.; brother, Kenneth Waggoner and wife Christine; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel, 6 – 8 p.m., Friday, with funeral service to follow.
Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery 10:45 a.m., Saturday, for 11 a.m. interment,
