Turner, John C. 96 of Knoxville, TN passed away Friday, February 12, 2021. He was a graduate of Knoxville Central where he received many recognitions for his mathematical accomplishments. John graduated UT with his BS in Electrical Engineering. He was a proud US Army veteran who served in WWII. John was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Fulton Turner; son, John Steven Turner; brother, Jack Earl Turner. He is survived by sons, Jeffrey Turner and Alan Turner; granddaughter, Claire A. Turner; brother, Gerald L. Turner; brother-in-law, Kenneth L. Wells of Lexington, KY; nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Tuesday, February 16th from 5-7pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home on Adair Dr. Funeral Service will take place Wednesday, February 17th at 12:30pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
