Juanita Blanche Mason

Juanita (Granny) Blanche Mason, age 85, of Powell, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023. Juanita was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved so many and in turn, was greatly loved by those in her community. She was a devoted woman of faith who spoke often of her Lord and His care for her, and the family that God graciously allowed her and Carl to build and love so dearly. She was a dedicated member of the Temple Baptist Church where she attended and worshipped her Lord for the last 43 years. She loved to play board games, travel, and eat good food, which most importantly to her allowed her quality time with her family and friends.

Juanita is survived in her passing by her loving husband of 67 years, Carl Mason, and her four adoring children, Sheila Leopper (Steve), Valerie Fox (Mike), Gregg Mason (Elanda), and Scott Mason (Angela). She has 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren who were so clearly the pride and joy of her life.

The family will receive friends on January 5, 2024, from 5:30 PM-7:00 PM at the Curtis Hutson Center located on the campus of the Temple Baptist Church, 1700 W. Beaver Creek Drive in Powell, TN. There will be a memorial service immediately following at 7:00 PM. The service will be officiated by Rev. Dave Rosser. There will be a private graveside service for her family members on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Powell, TN.
