Chance, Karen Parks –age 63, of Knoxville, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Tennova, St. Mary’s. She was a member of Central Baptist Church of Fountain City. She retired from Sears and was an Avon representative for many years. Preceded in death by parents, Gus and Genie Parks. Survivors include husband, Charles Chance; daughter and son-in-law, Susan Chance Mintz and husband Jeremy; son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Patti Chance; grandchildren, Thomas Mintz, Austin Norton, Enrique Chance; sister-in-law, Nancy Brown. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, April 16, 2012 at Lynnhurst Cemetery, Rev. Jeff Cockerham officiating.
