Helms, Kathryn N., passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014. Preceded in death by loving husband, John M. Helms; parents, Mr. & Mrs. Len E. Noah; sisters, JoAnn Burgett and Jean Shinpaugh; brothers, Rufus and Len Noah, Jr. She was a member of Knoxville #69 Order of Eastern Star where she served as organist for several years. Member of Meridian Baptist Church and former volunteer at Baptist Hospital. She taught piano for twenty-two years and traveled the world. Survived by son, David Helms of Chattanooga, TN; daughter, Cindy Hurley and husband, Gene, of Seymour; grandchildren, Stephanie Fowler and Jeremy Fowler of Knoxville; sister, Dorothy Childress; brother, Tommy Noah, Knoxville; sister-in-law, Ann Helms of Columbus, GA. Family and friends will meet at 1:00pm on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Dana Fachman officiating.
