Kenneth "Kenny" Childress went to be with his wife and daughter on June 19, 2026, at the age of 77. Kenny was a social butterfly who loved to laugh and have fun. You could catch him out running the roads. Kenny never met a stranger and always had a special nickname for you. He enjoyed music and hot coffee. Kenny was a wonderful husband who loved his wife beyond measure. He was a great Dad and a beloved Papaw who will be deeply missed.
Kenneth was preceded in death by wife, Billie Childress; daughter, Kimberly "Tiger" Childress; grandson, Kenneth Austin Berrier; mother, Lena Compronia. He is survived by son, Steven (Karen) Childress; grandchildren, Adara "Pooh Bear", Anthony "Papaw's Boy", Jacob "Tadpole"; 3 great grandchildren; beloved twin sister, Helen; special nephews, Frank and Timmy; several siblings, nieces, nephews and additional family.
Celebration of Life Service will take place Saturday, June 27th at 11am at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home.
