

Kenneth Robertson, age 82, of Knoxville, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 17, 2022. Kenneth was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam era. Kenneth retired from the Knoxville City Police Department after 36 years of dedicated service and after retirement, he worked for Walden Security as an US Marshal. In his spare time, Kenneth owned and operated Robertson's Auto Body Shop, was a softball coach for over 10 years who lead his team to multiple championships and was an avid musician in a local gospel bluegrass band.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Patsy Robertson; parents, Frank Sr. and Ruth Robertson; brothers, Frank Jr., Charles and William Robertson. Kenneth is survived by daughter, Kendra (Rodney) Davis; son, Tolliver (Tammy) Robertson; four grandchildren, Andrea and Mollie Davis, Zane and Gregory Robertson and their mother, Candy Whitt; great granddaughter, Everleigh Herrig; sister, Linda (Jerry) Cate; sisters-in-law, Linda Burchfield and June Robertson; brothers-in-law, Wade (Pauline) Burchfield, James Burchfield, Larry Burchfield, Michael (Sadonna) Burchfield and Russell (Stacey) Burchfield; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank Avalon Hospice and American House-Halls for their exceptional care. Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 20th from 5-7pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with funeral to follow at 7pm. Rev. Mark Kitts will officiate. Graveside service will be Wednesday, December 21st meeting at Lynnhurst Cemetery at 12:45pm for an 1pm service. Grandsons and nephews to serve as pallbearers.
