Lanna Victoria Dickenson passed away peacefully. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister whose presence made every room brighter and every burden lighter.
Among her greatest joys was antiquing alongside her beloved husband George — weekends spent hunting for hidden treasures, sharing laughs, and simply enjoying each other's company. A proud and passionate Tennessee fan, Lanna never missed a chance to cheer on her teams, and game days in the Dickenson home were something to behold. She approached all of life with that same enthusiasm — fully present, deeply invested, and always rooting for the people she loved. She was a long time member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Lanna was preceded in death by her parents, AM and Twila McClain; her brother, Darrell McClain; her sister, Linda Meredieth; and her daughters, Linda and Lanna Dickenson.
She is survived by her devoted husband of over 41 years, George Dickenson; her son, Andrew Keys; her brother, Steve McClain, and his wife Janice; her granddaughters, Carol Ann and Samantha Keys; her brother-in-law, Mike Meredith; and a beloved circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whose lives she touched in countless ways.
Psalm 100 KJV 1-5
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
