Laura “Susie” Swaggerty, age 50 of Knoxville, passed away November 21, 2021. She was a loving mother, nana, and daughter. Susie was hardworking and spent many years with Internal Medicine Associates, St. Mary’s Hospital, and most recently, University Physicians Association. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and taking care of her granddaughter, Camila.
Preceded in death by her grandparents, Lorraine and Charles Swaggerty Sr.; and great-grandparents, Leontine (Leona) and Huey Hobbs.
She leaves behind her daughter, Breanna Hudgins; granddaughter, Camila Faye Hudgins; parents, Brenda and Gary Swaggerty; brother, Jimmy Swaggerty; grandmother, Wanda Waggoner; and aunt, Charlotte Sayers.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:30 PM Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 W Adair Drive, Knoxville, TN 37918, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 7:30 PM, Rhonda Hobbs officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to March of Dimes in Susie’s honor.
