Lawrence Roger Hall

Lawrence Hall, age 88 of Knoxville, passed away on March 28, 2016 at U.T. Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Carrie Hall; wife Evelyn (Peggy) Hall. Mr. Hall retired after 49 years of service in Oak Ridge. He was a veteran Marine, a Shriner for 35 years; member of the Elks Club; Royal Order of Jesters for 25 years, and a member of Good Shepherd in Fountain City, where he served as church treasurer. Survivors include: sister, Melba Jo Ashner, Dallas, Texas; a niece of Dallas; special longtime friend George Caldwell. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Berry-Lynnhurst Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary of The Church of the Good Shepherd, 5337 Jacksboro Pike, Knoxville, Fountain City with Father Karl Weddle, officiating. Entombment will follow at Sherwood Memory Gardens, Alcoa. Everyone will meet at the cemetery following the church service. A very special thank you to the doctors and staff at U.T.
