Ms. Louise Marjorie Ray

Ray, Louise Marjorie age 86 of Knoxville, went home to the Lord on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at home with family by her side after a long illness. She was born December 4, 1924 in Strawberry Plains, TN. Preceded in death by her husband Herman Ray, parents, 5 brothers, and 4 sisters. Survived by loving daughters Evelyn Ray and Vicky Ray and Fred Taylor, sons and daughters-in-law James “Bill” and Michelle Ray, Michael and Brenda Ray, Kenneth Thompson, Greg Ray and Pam Woody, grandchildren Nicholas and Shawn McClain, Madisyn Ray, Joshua Ray and Kelby Ray, step grandchildren Anthony Dean, Blake and Garrett Woody, special friend and caretaker Shelia Loveday, other special friends Harry Harris and Billy McClain. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. George Brooks, Sylvia Harrell and Covenant Hospice. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 2, 2011 from 6-8pm in the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 8pm with Rev. Cedrick Jackson officiating.
