O’Dell, Lou age 91 of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012. Mrs. O’Dell was a member of Beaumont Ave. Baptist Church and retired from UT Alumni Affairs after 31 years of service. Preceded in death by her daughters Patricia Henderson and Deborah Sweet. Survivers include son and daughter-in-law Randy and Sharon O’Dell, several grandchildren, brothers A.J. Buckner Jr. and Gene Buckner, sisters Faye Bomar and Sue Branum a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends Monday from 5-7pm in the Lynnhurst/Greenwood Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 7pm with Pastor Ron Russell officiating. Family and friends will meet Tuesday at 12:45 at Greenwood Cemetery for a 1pm interment service.
