HARRIS, MARY RUTH - age 83, of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012. Member of Sharon Baptist Church in Powell. Former employee of St. Mary's Hospital. Graduated from Old Knoxville High School in 1946. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, George G. Harris; son, George Edward (Eddie) Harris and wife Susan; son, Steven A. Harris; daughter, Sandra Kay Case and husband Deryl, (FL); grandchildren, Rusty Beal and wife Beth, Jennifer Evans and husband Reid, Noah Case, Karen Beal, Sean Harris (FL), Roger Easterday, Tim Easterday; great grandson, Miles Andrew Evans. The family will receive friends at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel, Friday, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. The 11:00 a.m. funeral service will be officiated by Rev. Mark McCoig, Rev. Dennis Blazier, and Dr. James Robertson. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery to follow.
