Mary Elizabeth Arden Arden McLain

Mary Elizabeth Arden McLain, age 84, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, August 29, 2015. She was a member of Buffat Heights Baptist Church and was retired after more than 40 years from Fountain Bowling Lanes. She was preceded in death by husband, Paul E. McLain and beloved son, Greg McLain. Survived by children, Michael (Sue) McLain, Deborah McLain, Jerry (Gloria) McLain, Shannon McLain, Shirley McLain Chesney, Jeff (Linda) McLain; grandsons, Rob and Tim (Melissa) Trent, Justin (Angi), Ben (Ashley), Josh (Misty), Colton, Chase, Bryce McLain, and Josh and Nick (Christina) Halcomb; granddaughters, LeAnne (Tony) Hayes, Mariah (Jimmy) Hipsher, Sarah McLain, Alicia Chesney, and Keila, Channing, Rebecca, Annalese McLain; great-grandchildren, Emma and Tucker Trent, Carlee, Tonee and Gracee Hayes, Colby and Caden Hipsher, Reese and Carson Whitlock, Harper Pratt, Kailey and Eli McLain, Logan, Kameron, Jackson and Brennan Halcomb, and Parker McLain; brothers, Bob and Sam Arden, and David Humphries; sister, Margie Henegar; brother-in-law, Jack (Mariam) McLain. Special thanks to the 8th floor staff at U. T. Hospital. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Tuesday with the funeral to follow at 7 pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am for the interment at 11:00 am Wednesday at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
