Mary Louise (Hood) Patty went to be with her Heavenly Father on May 4, 2026. She was preceded in death by her loving Husband, Creed S. Patty, Jr., her mother and father, Charles and Edna Brown Hood, and a brother, Charles, Jr.
She is survived by Roger & Pam Underwood, Rob, Ashley and Peyton Huffaker, James, Trina and Weston Koontz, Marsha Cameron, Dr. William Broome, Amy, two Nephews, and one Niece.
She was a member of Alice Bell Baptist Church where she worked with children for many years. She retired from both Knox County and Knoxville City Schools with 43 years of service.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the care and kindness shown to Louise by UT Hospice and Beverly Park Place staff.
Friends may call at their convenience on Friday, May 8, 2026 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive. Graveside services will be Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery Pavilion, 5315 Kingston Pike, Dr. Doug White officiating.
