Mary Evanell (Daugherty) Walker, age 82, of Knoxville, TN passed away January 30, 2021. Born on April 19, 1938 in Kentucky. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, and grandmother. Mary was a Nurse Caregiver for many patients and family members. Preceded in death by husband, Paul Walker; parents, Roma Forest Daugherty and Buena Vista Embry of Kentucky; brothers, Lindon C. Daugherty, Darrell Daugherty, Emmit Daugherty, Glendon Daugherty, Gale Daugherty, and Lee Thomas Daugherty; sisters, Velma Lanham, Reba Shelton, and Vera Cochran; grandparents, William T. Daugherty and Mollie Austin of Kentucky, The Honorable Judge, Lafayette L. L. Embry and Eva Jane Baize of Kentucky. Survived by son, Dennis Walker; daughter, Brenda Jenkins; grandchildren, Grant Walker, Asia Walker, and Deanna Jenkins; great grandchildren, Angelo and Alivia; brother, Morris Daugherty. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from noon – 2 pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr., Knoxville, TN.
