Michael Lynn Altom, age 63, of Knoxville went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 15, 2015. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam Era and was employed by Orkin Pest Control for 20 years. Preceded in death by parents, Pete and Polly Altom. Survived by loving wife of 25 years, Kathy Lynn Hayes Altom; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Glen D and Debbie Hayes, Michael and Teffany Hill; nieces and nephews, Dewey Brooks, Danny Colangelo, Drinnen Hayes, Tanner Hill, Sabrina Brooks; great-nieces, Presley Brooks, Penny Brooks, McKenzie Brooks, Kaylee Hayes, Lexie Hayes and Nevaeh Hayes. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 24th at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive, Knoxville, TN. The memorial service will begin at 8pm.
