Lynn was a successful small business owner and entrepreneur, owning and operating both Industrial Consumer Electronics and Electronic Service Specialists during his career. He was also a proud veteran of the US Army, serving during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gorley and Dorine Deaton; his sister, Dana Evans DiGenova; and his nephew, Darin Evans.
Lynn is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lana Marlene Smith Deaton; his children, Dana Darlene Deaton Stiles and Andrew Lynn Deaton; his sister, Glenda "Tootsie" Jacobs Cagle; and his granddaughter, Marlie Stiles.
