Michelle Yvonne Sullinger, age 55, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on July 18, 2026, at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital.
Michelle graduated from Halls High School with the Class of 1989 before earning her bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She dedicated approximately twenty years of service to CVS, where she built lasting friendships with coworkers and customers alike.
Above all, Michelle's greatest pride and joy were her three children, whom she loved wholeheartedly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles E. Payne.
She is survived by her children, Mikaella Y. Sullinger, Alissa M. Sullinger, and William A. Sullinger; her mother, Jean R. Payne; her brother, Michael E. Payne; and many extended family members, friends, coworkers, and all whose lives she touched.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 West Adair Drive, Knoxville, TN 37918. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Dana Fachman. Directly followed by an Interment service at Greenwood Cemetery.
