Amend, Norma, age 45, of Knoxville, has gone home Monday, April 29, 2013. She was a member of Temple Baptist of Powell. Preceded in death by father, James Norman Wallace, Jr.; grandparents, James and Oshe Wallace, Sr., Charlie and Susie Terry; mother-in-law, Dorothy Amend. Survived by husband, Steve Amend; daughters, Cheryl and Stephanie; son, Matthew; mother, Margaret Terry Wallace; sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Joseph Strang; niece, Donna and Shaun Vogel of NJ; 2 great nieces, Sarah and Laura; great nephew, Christopher. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm Thursday at the Curtis Hutson Center at Temple Baptist Church of Powell with the funeral to follow with Pastor Clarence Sexton officiating. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery on Friday at 9:45 am for the 10 am graveside service. Arrangements by Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 2300 W. I met Norma when she was pregnant with the twins. She was on the top of the world knowing she was having twins. Her laughter was always wonderful to hear. She will be missed.
