JONES, OLIVER LEONARD “OLLIE”, age 83, of Knoxville, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013. He was a retired high school teacher from Tampa, Fl and a veteran of U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War. He was also an active member of Elk’s Lodge #160. Preceded in death by parents, Oliver and Swanola Jones. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Survived by sister: Mary Ruth Jones Chandler and husband, Thomas; nieces: Camey O’Rourke and husband, Peter, Teal McInturff and husband, Jeff, Kathleen Wright and husband, Jon, Logan Hull and husband, Kris.
The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until the funeral service at 11 A.M. Monday in the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Keith Shown officiating.
