Paul Darrell Bullen

Bullen, Paul Darrell, age 58 of Powell passed away Monday, August 15, 2011. Member of First Baptist Church of Powell. Graduate of the 1970 Class of Powell High School and served in the Tennessee National Guards. Darrell worked in sales, real estate and worked the last several years at Advance Auto Parts in Knoxville.

Survived by parents, Paul J. and Barbara R. Bullen; special cousins, Cindy and George Stooksbury, Joyce and Buddy Bell; aunts and uncles, Bernice and J. Lee Dugger, Winston and Jim Evans, all of Powell; first cousins, Steve and Annie Bell of Knoxville, Jama and Charles Moore of LaFollette, Jan and Bob Marker of Maryville, Vicki and Doug Derreberry of Morristown, Gary and Kim Evans of Powell; several other cousins; special friends, Terry and Diane Darnell of Louisville. A special thanks to Dr. Marcia Lyons and all of Darrell’s caregivers, Mercy Hospital, Mercy Residential Hospice of Halls, Fresenius Dialysis of Powell, Norris Rehab and Health Center, Amedisys Health Care and Rural Metro of Powell.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 – 7 pm at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with the funeral to follow at 7 pm with Rev. Phil Jones and Rev. Jim Waddell officiating. Family and friends will meet Friday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 1 pm graveside service.
