Richard Thomas Wyrick

Wyrick, Richard T. (Dick), age 83, of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Asbury Place Nursing Home. Member of Greenway Baptist Church. He was retired from Union Carbide Y-12. He was a member of Burlington Lodge # 763. Preceded in death by parents, Thomas Earl Wyrick and Willie Ruth Wyrick; wife, Barbara Katherine Wyrick; brother, Robert Earl Wyrick.

Survived by daughter, Sally Ruth Wyrick; son, Michael Thomas Wyrick and wife Linda; grandchildren, Stacey Nicole Parton and husband Ryan, Christopher Thomas Wyrick; great grandchildren, Jasmine Parton, Tyler Parton, McKenzie McBride, Shaylyn Wyrick; sister-in-law, Wanda Wyrick; brothers-in-law, D.A. Crossley, Jr., Jack Money and wife Marguerite; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm Friday with the funeral service to follow at 7 pm in the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Kirk Wallace officiating. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery for a 11 am interment Saturday. Pallbearers are Christopher Wyrick, Ryan Parton, George Loveday, Ed Loveday, Brandon Loveday, and Danny Day.
