Roger Carl Ishmael, age 74, of Knoxville, TN formerly of Fort Morgan, CO went to his Heavenly Home on Thursday, June 27, 2024. A lifelong music enthusiast, he taught instrumental lessons and collected thousands of records which he thoroughly enjoyed. Known as "Roger Morgan" on air, he entertained countless radio listeners for over forty years on KFTM as the "Voice of Morgan County" in CO and on WKCE in TN. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and taught band at their school. In his spare time, Roger loved to go thrifting with his family and watching baseball.
Roger was preceded in death by parents, Carl and Margaret Ishmael and brother, Rick Ishmael. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Lynn Ishmael; son, Aaron (Jessica) Ishmael; grandson, Henry Ishmael.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Roger's name to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
