McBEE, ROY L – Age 90 of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Hillcrest North Nursing Home. He was born April 17, 1921 in Claiborne County TN. He was a member and former Deacon of Hoitt Avenue Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents George and Cora McBee. Survivors: wife of 68 years, Loretta; son and daughter-in-law Eugene and Pat McBee; Two grandchildren, Russell of Knoxville and Robin Dunn and husband Mark of Gillette, WY; Two great grandchildren, Wyatt and Ashtynn Dunn of Gillette, WY. He was a veteran of the Army during World War II. One of his many occupations was with the AEC Patrol in Oak Ridge, TN. He was retired from Norfolk Southern Railway. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 3rd with the funeral at 8:00 p.m. at the Lynnhurst Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. Reverend David Collins and Reverend Oliver Wolfenbarger officiating. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service.
