Starkweather, Ruby K., age 95, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016, which was 11 days before her 96th birthday. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Gertrude Walker; sisters, Lillian Elmore, Mary Walker; brother, Jess Walker. Survivors include daughter, Linda Barkley and husband Chuck; son, David Elmore of Maryland; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 pm Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. A graveside service will follow in Lynnhurst Cemetery with Rev.
