Ruth Bost

Aubry Ruth Bost age 85 went home to be with the Lord Wednesday June 4, 2025. Ruth, as she was known to everyone, was a long standing member of West Lonsdale Baptist Church, serving the Church in the nursery for over 40 years. She loved her church and loved working with her babies.

Ruth was preceded in death by the love of her life, Jesse Bost, to whom she was married for over 51 years; her parents, Loyd and Rosa Willis and her brother, Roy Willis.

Ruth is survived by her three sons; David (Lisa), Mike, and Kevin (April). She is also survived by four grandchildren who she thought the sun rose and set in; Tyler, Conner, Lexi and Hope (Jordan) Henderson.

Ruth also has three step-grandchildren; Madison, Jackson, Peyton; and one step-great grandchild, Everleigh. She is survived by her special cousin who was like a sister, Shelby of Blackwater, Virginia, and special friend, Peggy in Georgia.

A visitation for Ruth will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at West Lonsdale Baptist Church, 2720 Dayton St NW, Knoxville, TN 37921 with funeral service following at 7:00 PM with Rev. Todd Halliburton officiating. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery, 3500 Tazewell Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918, meeting at the graveside at 12:45 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to West Lonsdale Baptist Church in Ruth's memory for new nursery equipment.
