Ruth Ann and I have been friends since we were five years old.  We were in church at Inskip Baptist until we were married and after.  She was always close to my family and I was close to her family.  She became my sister-in-law when she and Leslie were married.  Things did not change much with us being family because we were always family. She was a special person and my boys loved her and so did Holt.  We have been separated by many miles in the last few years, but the love and closeness has remained.  She is much happier now.  She had been so sick with many things wrong with her.  I am sorry that Leslie has lost her but he will survive in knowing that she is all better now.  I will always love Ruth Ann.

I first met Ruth Ann in September 1973...43 years ago this month. We were in a dental assistant program together in Knoxville. After the program was finished and we both began working Ruth Ann introduced me to a new guy who had moved into her apartment complex. That relationship turned into marriage in 1976. We were close friends up to the point my family and I moved to Minnesota in 1983. After that the communication dwindled to an occasional letter and Christmas card exchange. A few phone conversations thrown into the mix. Sadly I lost track of Ruth Ann, except for when we returned to Knoxville on visits to family and I would call her and go by to visit her and Leslie. I know her health continued to change but I don't know about much about all of ills she battled with. We were greatly saddened to hear of her passing. If I could talk to her one more time I would apologize profusely for letting our friendship fall to the wayside. She was such a dear dear lady, and I thank her for introducing me to my husband Tom. As someone already mentioned in a previous post, she is suffering no more, no more sorrow, but only a perfect body and mind where she is with her God in heaven. Much love to you Ruthie!! Remember fun times with Ruth Ann at Inskip Baptist Church.  So sorry for the families loss, but glad that Ruth Ann is finally healed and resting in our Heavenly Father's loving arms.

So sorry to learn of the passing of Ruth Ann. We were friends at Central High School, class of 1966. She was such a sweet girl. Wish we had not lost contact of one another.
