Sandra A Farmer

Sandra Armes Farmer, age 61, of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord on Christmas morning, December 25. 2024. She was a geriatric nurse for over 30 years. She enjoyed taking cruises and traveling across the USA and to Canada. She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Louise Armes; father, Elmer Armes; and sister, Rose Young.

She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Howard E. Farmer, Jr.; two daughters Mary Armes and Kariwonna Ricker, of Knoxville TN; two grandchildren, Ja’Merick Ricker, of Knoxville, TN, and Vella Gilchrist of Winston Salem, NC; three sisters, Mary Roulette of Florida, Sherry Lawrence of Knoxville, TN, and Florence Boatright of Lexington, TN; two nephews, Danny Paul Young, and Josh Young, of Sunbright, TN; three step children, Mark (Sherice) Farmer, Karen (Tim) Story, and Nancy (Bobby) Borden, of Knoxville, TN, and several other family and friends.

Family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2025, Funeral to follow at 7PM at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 W. Adair Drive. Knoxville, TN 37918. Final interment will be held at East TN State Veteran’s Cemetery, 2200 E. John Sevier, Knoxville, TN 37920, at 8:30 am, Friday, January 3, 2025, with Chaplain Phillip Groos officiating.
