Bean, Shirley Ann Long Collins, age 76, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011. Preceded in death by parents, Ballard and Selma (Coffin) Long; brothers, Ballard and Bill Long; sisters, Wilma Scalf and Evelyn Hammock.
Survived by sons, Kenny Collins (Donna), Sam Bean (Julia), Hugh Bean (Rhonda); daughter, Brenda Hodson (David); 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ted and Jack Long; sister, Micky Looney; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family wishes to thank the many staff members at NHC Fort Sanders for the loving care our mother received. The family will receive friends at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel Friday, from 5 to 8 pm.
