For 16 years we have been neighbors.  My favorite memory will always be Mr. Cole outside enjoying his train track. So sorry for your loss.  Jeff and Vonda Jennings

We've all been blessed by Uncle Bud, as my Mom's twin brother we'll always remember him as having a great sense of humor with terrific stories from his life.  The Mackay family is keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers!

I very much wish that I had been able to know your Dad longer than I was able to, but I am grateful to have been allowed into your lives for even a short time.  His sense of humor and wit was refreshing and of his comments during the last few nursing visits continue to make me laugh.  It is an honor to have spent time with Mr Cole as he came to the end of his life.  John did an excellent job of caring for his father and thank you for letting me be a part of it.

Dear Mary, Stanley, John, Susan and Patricia,
I was saddened this evening to read of Stan's passing.  I worked with your Dad in the Y-12 Plant Lab from 1967-84. He was my first boss and I could not have asked for a better chemist or gentleman to work for. Besides being such a good lab mentor, I always enjoyed so much the life values he shared and the humor he could bring out in situations. All this meant so much to me as a green kid straight out of college. I am still working in Oak Ridge and there are so many times over the years I have continued to think of him and regret we had not spoken nor shared life's experiences for many years now.
He and your Mom are now sharing together in the everlasting love and joy that we can only imagine. May the Touch of Our Lord Jesus, the Peace of the Holy Spirit, and the Love of Our Heavenly Father be felt by each of you and your family.

Our Time

O, clock! Your hands

I couldn't have asked for a better father. Your love and support will be with me throughout the rest of my life until we meet again.

Your father was a happy, fun loving man who enjoyed his family very much.  I have fond memories of the times we joined the Cole family reunions in Gatlinburg, TN & Destin, FL and visiting with him, enjoying his great stories.  He enjoyed his home, doing wonderful gardening and the wildlife associated with it. He will be missed by many.  Treasure your memories of him.
