Stoney W. Cook, age 79, went to Heaven on August 6, 2021. He was retired from Plasti-Line after many years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Preceded in death by father, Ivan Cook, Sr; mother, Francis Cook; sister, Connie Ruckart; brother, Ivan Cook, Jr.; and infant granddaughter, Hope.
Survivors are son, Greg Cook (Sheila); daughter, Kristi Kitzmiller; mother of Stoney’s children (Connie Elkins); grandchildren, Whitney Cook, Bubba Cook, Cameron Kitzmiller, Kaitlyn Kitzmiller and Christian Criollo; great granddaughters, Dietta Piety and Hope Kitzmiller; brothers, Wayne Cook (Sharon), Donnie Cook (Jean); sisters, Jackie Qualls and Fayetta Neeley (Charlie); several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 W. Adair Dr., Knoxville, TN 37918. Funeral service will be at 12:00 pm Tuesday at Berry Lynnhurst Chapel. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.berrylynnhurst.com.
