Payne, Susan, age 63, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Mrs. Payne was a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church and also taught Sunday School at Hilldale Baptist Church in Clarksville, TN for many years. Preceded in death by parents, Lester and Dorothy Johnson of Chattanooga; son, Kenny A. Payne; sister, Barbara Crafton of Atlanta and brother, Martin Johnson of San Francisco. Survived by loving husband, Sam R. Payne Jr. and sons, Tim and Daniel Payne. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 27th from 1-3pm at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 2300 W. Adair. A celebration of Susan’s life will follow at 3pm, Rev Mike Hulsey officiating. A graveside service will be held Monday, November 29th at 11am at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Clarksville, Tennessee, Rev Tim Payne officiating.
