My sweet and wonderful Uncle Tom will be missed so much! He was a funny, fun, loving, and incredible uncle! He kept joking with me that he was going to buy my 3 year old a drum set for Christmas. Always made me laugh. :-)

Love you Uncle Tom. Miss you dearly. I've been cheering on your Pistons since you've been gone!

Uncle Tom,
Thank you for always loving me. I miss you so very much. It doesn't seem real that you aren't here anymore. But, you are still with us and always will be...just not in the physical sense like we wish you were. You are no longer in pain and suffering no more and that makes it a bit easier to handle, I suppose. Don't worry about all of us. Like I told you when you had to leave us, we will all take care of each other and get each other through the loss of "you," especially Mammaw and Pappaw...we know how much you worried about us and we did and still do love you so much for that...and we thank you for your unselfishness, especially given how sick you were. But you always were selfless. You always cared about everyone else.  I love you very much. I hope you are singing and playing your music!

Our deepest condolences to Betsy and Tom's family. We will miss Tom greatly. He was one of a kind. From Dr. P and the staff at Holland Med.

I met Tom through Betsys friend Peggy. While I didn't know him that well he certainly conveyed his passion, compassion and plain old smarts. I believe that we all would like to have good things said about us on our passing. Tom, you hit the jack pot! I wish his family much comfort in the memory of such a good soul.

Tom was a great friend even though we only hung around together a few years back in Detroit. At that time he was in a group with Jim Reddick called "The Kindred Sprits". The name fit Tom, Jim and Freddie so well. If you ever needed someone to pick you up and make you smile, it was Tom. RIP buddy

As Betsy's cousin, I knew Tom well.  He was a quiet man who was easy-going and a delightful cook! May you rest in peace, dear man....

We are so sorry for you loss. May the love you shared, and the memories help to ease the pain of your sorrow.

So very sad to know that Tom has left us. He was a good friend, a smart and funny man. I came to know Tom when he arrived in Pennsylvania and for the past 11 years counted him as one of my dear friends. He was generous, compassionate and intelligent and I will always remember him with his pipe, his wry sense of humor and his love of basketball! Rest peacefully now Tom, you will be missed.
