Watson, Viola Sue, age 88, passed away March 27, 2014 at Hospice in Halls. Viola was a member of Temple Baptist Church since March 12, 1972. Viola was an Admitting Clerk at Baptist Hospital for eight years before she came to UTK in 1955 as a secreatary in the Purchasing Dept. In 1977, she became John Parker's personal secretary at the Physical Plant. Preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Robbie Sue Watson, Sr.; brothers, Oscar Watson, Jr.' John and William (Bill) Watson. Survivied by sister, Jane Anne Goodlin; brother, Richard Watson; special niece, Susan Hillard and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will recevie friends Monday from 5-7pm at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel, 2300 Adair Drive, Knoxville, TN 37918. The funeral will follow at 7pm with Dr. Clarence Sexton officiating.
