Viva Jean Ault

Ault, Viva Jean Elder, age 88, of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Morning Pointe Lantern in Powell. She was retired from Clapp Tire Company and was a loving grandmother and homemaker since 1977. Viva was known as “Nana” to her grandchildren. Before losing her sight to glaucoma, she enjoyed gardening, canning, taking care of her grandkids, and keeping the most perfectly manicured lawn. Viva was a woman of great faith and a woman of prayer. She will be greatly missed, the sweetest mom ever. Preceded in death by husband of 56 years, James H. Ault and son, Scott D. Ault. Viva was the last surviving sibling of ten children. Survived by daughter, Terri Hall and son-in-law, Robert Hall; grandchildren, Leah Scott (Chase), Jake Hall, Heather Barker (Chris), Haley Ault, Caitlin Ault, and great-granddaughter, Addy Barker; many nieces and nephews. Terri would like to thank the staff at Morning Pointe for their sweetness and caring of Viva since July 2021. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Family and friends may come and pay their respects between the hours of 3pm-7pm Tuesday, February 8th at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home. Graveside service will take place Wednesday, February 9th meeting at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home at 10:30am for procession to Greenwood Cemetery on Tazewell Pike, service will begin at 11am with Rev. John Holland officiating.
