Wanda Faye Stair, 76 of Knoxville, TN, was born on January 16, 1949, and passed away on December 20, 2025. She showed kindness and care to everyone she knew. Wanda was known for her keen wit and sharp sense of humor. She was the best Meemaw.
Wanda was preceded in death by parents, Bart Houston Miller and Edith Sproles Miller; 7 older siblings; son, Benjamin Coley Stair. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Peter Stair; daughters, Carla Ellis (William Futrell) and Kathryn Stair; sons, Audie Murphy Ellis (Lea), Steven Michael Ellis; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Roger Miller (Cindy), Jeff Miller, Carl Miller (Jane) and Gladys Pence (Jon); several nieces, nephews, cousins, and additional family and friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life announced at a later date.
