He was a member of North Knoxville Baptist Church. He was saved and baptized on July 30th, 1967.
He was preceded in death by his father William H Burchfield and mother, Louetta K Burchfield, sister and brother-in-law Judy and Ted Miles, brother-in-law William D Summers.
He is survived by his son, William Joshua Burchfield (Maggie) and grandchildren; Nash, Daxton, and Lena, sisters; Josephine Summers, Kathy Sharp (David), and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no receiving of friends and the graveside service will be private.
